Comics for Identity - The Story of Enrique Pastor

This story tells the search of Enrique Pastor for his half brother or sister. Enrique's father, Alberto Manuel Pastor, was a militant of the PRT-ERP. He was abducted in May 1977 together with his second companion, Nora Luisa Maurer, who was two months pregnant at the time. The couple and their baby remain disappeared.





Max Aguirre (1971) is an illustrator, comic artist and cartoonist. He has a daily and a weekly comic in the national Argentine newspaper La NaciĆ³n, and is the author of more than a dozen books, including 7 comic books. He has received several national and Latin American awards for his work.


Enrique Pastor (1975) is a psychoanalyst active in the field of human rights. He is in charge of the Argentine Chapter of the Latin American Initiative for the Identification of the ‘Disappeared’ and a member of the organization of children of the disappeared H.I.J.O.S. He also collaborates actively with the Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo. His brother disappeared during the military dictatorship.
