Trigger Happy - The Story of Sergio Durán

On 6 August 1992, 17 year old Sergio Durán was stopped and arrested in Morón, province of Buenos Aires. He was accused of the attempted robbery of a purse. In the Police station he was brutally beaten and tortured for between 6 to 8 hours. He died 12 hours later on the way to the hospital.

Marcos Vergara (1973) is a graphic designer, librarian, and co-author of a wide range of comic books made in collaboration with various scriptwriters. His work as a comic artist has been included in various anthologies. He is also a co-founder of the publishing house Loco Rabia, which publishes the work of comic artists from all over the world, as well as a member of the group of Latin American comic artists ‘Historietas reales.’

Rodolfo Santullo (1979) is a journalist, writer, scriptwriter, and editor with the publishing house Grupo Belerofonte, which specializes in the publishing of comic books. He is the author of a wide range of graphic novels and his work has been included in various anthologies and magazines in Uruguay, Argentina, Spain, Chile, the United Kingdom, Peru, Italy, and Cyprus.
